Toboggan runs

Schloss Kammer

Valley toboggan run (with refreshment opportunity)
Beautiful natural toboggan run in Maishofen.

Every Thursday from the end of December to the end of February, you can enjoy tobogganing with torch lights followed by refreshments at Schloss Kammer, including glühwein (spiced wine) to warm you up.

Biberg

Sled runs and mountain refreshments
6 km of sledding enjoyment for the whole family, plus 2 inns for exciting refreshment opportunities!!
Sled run – daily from 10:30 to 02:00
Shuttle service – daily from 10:30 to 9:00

From the valley lift station, you can either take advantage of shuttle service to Berggasthof Huggenberg or make your way up there on foot. Walk-time is about 1 hour – this is the first spot where you can rent out sleds.

To reach the summit, you will climb next to the sled run all the way up to Berggasthof Biberg - ca. 45 minutes’ walk – sleds are available to rent right there at the Berggasthof. Day and nighttime sledding is possible; the sled run is floodlight, and is also serviced by snowmaking equipment.

Reiterkogel – Hinterglemm

Toboggan run on the Reiterkogel
Length: 3.2 km | Start: 1470 m | Destination: 1070 m

Operating times:
Daytime sled run: Daily from 8.30 am to 4.15 pm
Night sled run: Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday from 4.15 pm - 9.30 pm (floodlights until 10.30 pm)

Use of the cable car (including evening rides) is included with your valid ski pass for Saalbach Hinterglemm. (Fares for single rides also available!) Toboggan rental per day (available at the Reiterkogel base station) € 10,00 | Deposit per toboggan € 50.00 (deposit will be refunded only by sled return on the same day before 10.30 pm)

For your own safety: Only toboggans rented directly from the lift company can be used on the toboggan run. We will not transport your own toboggan or winter equipment.

Wildkogel - Bramberg

The longest, floodlight toboggan run in the world.

On this 14 km route, tobogganers drop an incredible 1300 m in elevation on their way back to Bramberg. The ride takes ca. 30 - 50 min.

Opening Times:
The lift ride up is possible until 4:15 pm. On Friday, in favorable weather conditions, the Smaragdbahn extends lift service until 6:30 p.m..

The entire length of the sled run is floodlit daily until 10 p.m. (The sled run closes at 10 p.m. in order to get it back into tip-top shape for the following day).
